In which livery are you having it restored? Interesting that the fuel door is still in place but it's been taped over. Love them Sears pin striped radials.

This is when Buffum had the car. I believe these 1st 2 fotos are from the Press-On-Regardless Rally here in Michigan, the 3rd is the Sunrise Rally in Chillicothe, Ohio. Both probably around 74-75.

On second glance, the foto with the Nr. 63 has "Poland" on the roof. The foto was labeled as 'buffum' but must be Zasada somewhere ...

That's a bit strange that Hourihan owned the car in 1976. Obviously he bought it from Buffum, but Buffum was also racing a "911 Carrera" in 1976. Apparently Buffum bought a different one, but what and why? Anyway, here's the results from 1976. Lots of familiar Michigan people in these results. Guy Light lived nearby and had a really cool private rally track behind his house!

So it looks like Zasada actually raced the Safari car at the Press On Regardless in Marquette Michigan in November 1975 - he was classified as a 'guest' at the event and won it. Then it appears to have been sold to Buffum after the POR and Buffum raced it at the El Diablo Rally in Green Bay in December.

The first time Hourihan shows up with it is the Lancia 20 Stages Rally in Grayling Michigan in May 1976. Buffum had a 73 Carrera that year and won many of the NARA and SCCA Pro rallies.
