    Wiring harness

Anyone know if someone sells a replacement wiring harness for a 73 911? Thanks

Sure. Get your wallet ready and some aspirin and go to. . .

    www.ynzyesterdaysparts.com

They have an excellent catalog where you can find what you need. Kevin Jeannette at Gunnar Racing uses their stuff, I have bought from them and they are great.

    What happened

The original was taken out of the car because of a full restoration. I just thought a new one would be a good idea due to it's age and also a new one would be much more flexable to install.

    Hi Ret9191,

I saw an advertisement on eBay yesterday for a family firm in Germany that makes reproduction Porsche 911 and 356 wiring harnesses. The eBay item number was 160152296923. Text for that ad reads:

"Wiring harness Porsche 911 (till 1968) " MADE IN GERMANY " is a 100% authentic reproduction of the original harness. Correct terminals, original color-coded wires and plugs. Simple manual (English) and color wiring diagram for easy installation. The wire ends are labled for easy assembly. Parts: 1.Fuse Box to Headlights (Front-harness) 2. Under Dsh to Taillights/Engine (Main-harness) (3 original plugs must be reused) PS: We make wiring harnesses for Porsche 911/912 and Porsche 356 (all models) since more than 18 years."

They have an interesting website (in English!) at www.wiring-harness-wocheslander.com .

    No affiliation. Good luck!

    Mit freundlichen Grüßen,

    wiring harness

I wrote these folks today after seeing this in the forum. I need a complete harness for my 67S. I will let you know how it goes after talking to them. Expensive, but seems appropriate given the cost of everything else Porsche these days. Anyone have a better idea as my harness has been butchered over the years by PO's?
