    Sport seats and hinges

    Hi All,
Finally with all the help from the friends, the input from the customers and the demand of the collectors we have a new seat and hinge. The old seat with the hinge and cover was a good solution- but we tried to make it better.......
This is the first seat made in the USA, with German Corduroy or original ( 95% ) Basket weave or of course German Houndstooth.
We will also have the option now for early or later style headrests.
Showing in Ventura-here for the guys not so close to the West Coast.

    Hi Stefan

They look very nice and close to the original. What is the weight compared to the original and what is the price with headrest(1971 style)? What do the tiltmec. look like?

    Tiltmec

    Hi John,
I had that question coming...my biggest problem...So far I didn't find any reliable manufacturer for an appropiate tilting bracket....I used to sell the Italian once like hot cakes- but they were too narrow and required a bracket to the bracket to fit....here is the pictures of my prototype-but without manufacturer.....
Weight is about 27lbs depending on covermaterial and fabric.
I have kept the prices as on the website now with sliders included and the option for the headrest matching your car and model year

When are you heading out to So.Cal. and do you need any assistance? I was thinking of going but did not want to go alone.

    hinges

    Hi All,
I was able to get a hinge that was slim enough to fit this with a seperate hinge cover.Stamping and tooling costs for a steel cover was too high that I had to go with a glassfiber cover.

Where are you leaving from in Dallas? Not sure my schedule can swing it, but perhaps breakfast somewhere or a drink Tuesday night?
