Bilstein strut spindle thread size issue

I bought a new set of Bilstein front struts with the 3.5" spacing for the S calipers. The problem I am having is the Spindle threads are now larger than before, I found the larger U-shaped spindle allen wrench clamp that holds the hub on but it won't fit inside the brake drum hub. Can I buy later hubs? What to do? Thanks Ron

I did a '72s+ Bilstein coilover conversion on my '71 and retained the original hubs. Had to get the larger diameter allen-clamp nut for the original '71 Boge spindle nut was too small. I believe it is the difference between a 16mm and an 18mm nut. What year are your hubs? The larger nut fit (but tight) in the hubs which I believe are original. If barely not able to fit, you can probably file down the arches of the nut/thread end to make clearance? A SMALL amount of removed material on the extreme edges should'nt compromise the nut integrity.
