Thread: Going to sell my 1973 T Original car

Going to sell my 1973 T Original car

After several years of bugging Kent Rawson, I finally purchased his all original 1970 911T with only 13,000 miles on it out of his collection. As with my collection, if I buy a better car than I currently have, I sell it. If anyone wants a 54,000 mile, 99% original 911T I am going to sell it. NOT Cheap.
The front spoiler and nose of the car was repainted to cover rock chips. I purchased the car that way. Did'nt match very well, so I spent about $4,000.00 to correct it. Painted only the edge to about 7 inches up on the hood. Other than that, all original. I want $42,000.00 for her. Scott. 727-403-7664. I have several photos I can e-mail. Like to see it go to an Early 911S or R Gruppe member, that's why I am not posting on ebay. Too many wankers!

I have not seen Scott's collection in person, but my father talked to him about this car (I think) before we bought Vern Lyle's S. I saw pictures of his cars and the one he is selling here. Quite an awesome collection and a very nice T that he is selling. Expensive, but probably very worth it. Based on his collection philosophy, I would venture to guess that this car is pretty pristine. I am confident that this car would be a very welcome addition to anyone's collection. Good luck with the sale Scott.

Scott, will you please send me Kent Rawson's contact information? I sold him two very early 356's about 15 years ago and I would like to discuss these with him.
    Thanks,
    Tom Scott

    Tom.

Best way to talk to Kent is thru the guy who takes care of his collection and for that matter, my collection. His name is Joe Vatter at German Tech. Joe's telephone number is 727-547-0818.

Scott, Great collection of early cars. Are any of the race cars in the backgroung for sale. That looks like the Alex Job Leman Car or is that a replica that you do track events with.

The Alex Job car you see in the background is in fact the 2005 Le Mans winner in class and 10th overall. The last 996 GT3 RSR to win at Le Mans. I have been thinking of selling it since I use the two 993 RSR's I have for vintage racing. I am taking all my racecars to the upcoming Rennsport event at Daytona this year. Let me know if you are interested in the GT3 RSR.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hey Scott,
    That is a beautiful car.

Thanks for all of your help in my search of a vintage 911. I bought the one that Gary had (via Byron).

It worried me that you saw the car before me and didn't buy it.

Doc (the one with the fake)

    Scott,
Is that a red, orange or tangerine colored T? It's hard for me to determine.
