    Safety harness attachment?

I was browsing the gallery at www.stimming.de site and noticed this olive 911 st and attach the following photos.

Does anyone have any insight as to possible reinforcement for the harness attachment. I was surprised that the safety harness were not attached to the roll bars. Has anyone seen this setup before and how is it done?

    Thanks,

i've seen setups like this in older cars with simple 'period' style cages/rollover bars that do not otherwise have suitable harness attachment points.

the eyelets are attached to plates behind the sheetmetal that spread the load. the plates have a captive nut welded to them. most lap and sub belts are attached to the floor in a similar manner.

for australia, the minimum plate size is about 2" by 3"
