    Photos from Linden's Campout

A great event that will be difficult to improve upon, of course excepting Mike's unfortunate accident covered in another thread. Our thoughts are with you Mike.

Many great cars and even more great enthusiasts. Gary Emory's late night stories around the fire were a hit for all of us still awake, but every other aspect of the campout... the food, the tour, the weather, the videos, books, magazines... was beyond belief!

Thank you very much Eric and Tammy, you are incredibly gracious hosts and I had a wonderful time!

Thanks guys, it really was a high point in the summer for me, since I didn't make it to Treffen or Emory's campout.

A little about that last shot, it was taken around midnight with a 15 second exposure. The wheel was strapped onto the roofrack of Eric's '67S earlier in the day and he took it off for the fun run; I found it eaxactly where he left it, leaning against the kindling and a rake. I like shots like that.

Nice pictures Brad. How did you take the one of the 356 engine while still in the car w/such little light? Did you just set the timer and place the camera in there?

Exactly Perry. Set the timer for 10 seconds, place the camera, press the shutter release, and wait. You have to sort of guess on the focal length.

On that one that you mention, the lens was actually resting on the alternator belt! I like how the spark plug leads look, gigantic. There was another similar shot looking the other direction where you could see the decklid louvres, which was cool, but the rest of the shot was crap.

    Thanks for the feedback guys,
