For Sale : 1965 SOLEX Carburetors

Pair of rare 1965 Solex 911 carburetors available. Complete with the original magnesium manifolds. Generally, this stuff looks pretty good-definitely rebuildable. These are basically "all there"! Harry Bieker rebuilt a set of these for me for the Tony Adamowicz racing 2.0L '68 Trans-Am car, the carbs work great (basically 906 spec. engine, but milder cams). He can even bore them out larger, like he did 44mm on that engine! The butterflies all operate and these would be a great finishing touch for your '65 911 restoration. Velocity stacks are present, too.

$750 shipped within USA48, worldwide shipping avail.

Pics are too large--but available through email! Please email me and I'll send you some photos.

    Thanks,
    Scott

I am interested. Can you email me photos? Do you have a fuel pump (mechanical cam driven).

    Scott,

I'll take the carbs if Kenik doesn't want them.

Scott is slow to the keyboard. We came to terms today. My '65 is VERY thankful to soon be rid of its Webers. Now I just need a mechanical fuel pump. Chuck, with all of your early cars, do you have a spare?

Do you have a specific part number in mind?
If so, I will look this weekend.
