    LTB SSI's for 1968 911L

I'm looking to buy a set of new or used ssi's for my swb 911L.

Set up of the car is relatively standard... running webers, and an arbarth exhaust.

Any recommendations / advise is welcome.

Can somebody also advise the difference between ssi's for early cars, vs ones for mfi cars vs ones for K jetronic cars... I'm never sure which ones are suitable for my application.

I believe you're looking for the "thin-flanged" model, as opposed to the thicker flange associated with the later engine, (longer exhaust studs). MFI sets have a provision for supplying heat to the thermostat on the pump. These would work on your car, but not too good the other way around.

I have a beautifull pair that are practically new for $750 plus shipping and a decent stainless muffler (has some dings but most not visible when installed)for $175. Please e mail me direct don@porsport.com thanks.
