Hello:
A few questions about the nla 67S rocker deco strip:
What is unique about it (model specific)?
Is the anything reasonably close to it (i.e. 356)?
Does anyone have a close up picture and or dimensions? I may try fabricating
some.
Thanks,
50/50

They are wider and have a different profile than other rocker decos. Later deco have a larger metal surface and a different rubber insert.
I wish someone out there would produce an after market piece. If they already do, please let me know.

Hi...
I sent you a PM, just ignore it... I forgot your "signature", and now I remember who you are, duh... Call me or email me, and we can talk about what to do. I approached someone on this, but they weren't really interested.

Hi,
I also need a pair in case anyone had any or is involved in re-producing them.
Alan
I have been searching for over 3 years. The first ever pair that I have seen advertised came up on this board last week. The asking price was a measure of how rare they are. I just couldn't justify the cost even though I would have loved to have them.
If anyone is making repros I would be interested. Would the rubber insert be possible to recreate as well?
Regards
Mike

I found out an interesting thing when I asked a very good early Porsche resto shop about getting rubber inserts for my deco trim.
They informed me that International Mercantile(@hotmail.com) manufactures their own product and that it is far superior to that of all others (Performance Prod, etc.).
Stuff sure looks good and they tell me it is of higher quality and is easier to work with .
They don't repro the metal bits though.
Trying to determine interest
Any other 67S owners in need of a pair?
Thanks

Here are photos from a car that was displayed at Daytona RRII.
Anybody have a set to take reference measurements or profiles?

If you can get the rubber, any competent machine shop should be able to machine up a set that looks identical on the surface out of aluminum stock. You can then have them anodized to match. Not a cheap route, but how badly do you want them?
