Thread: RS seats with the knurled back rest knobs

Question RS seats with the knurled back rest knobs

I was wondering about the reproduction Carrera RS bucket seats with the knurled adjustment knobs on each side. I have 2 questions to ask. #1 What seat tracks did they use, are they the stock ones like on a standard or sport seat? My repro seat is more of a square track that says FIA on it. #2 My repro seats also have a square base plate that is about a ¼ thick, is this correct or did the stock tracks mount directly to the standard seat mounting points? Maybe someone can provide a picture or detail. Thanks Ron Thomas

    reproduction RS seats

    Hi Ron,
here are some pictures of the mounting hardware of our RSR made in Germany by RSL- so far the best I have seen.
However please do not expect them to be FIA legal-as they are in 2 pieces and no openings or further supports.
The sliders/rails are mounted to the seat and than to the pictures bracket/ tilting brackets.
    Original the were silver/metal finish.
