    WTB: Black Basketweave For Dash

Does anyone have leftover black basketweave material from a restoration they would be willing to sell? I just need enough to do my dash area and don't need to buy a whole running yard from a parts wholesaler only to have it go to waste. I just need a small amount. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Hi Scott, I have some that you can have. Just cover the shipping. Send me an email.

    Cheers,

    Hi Scott,

I think I may have a basket weave door panel that would work for the dash. If there is some left over you could also do the 914-6 wheel.

I can bring it up this weekend too.

If I remember correctly, the problem with a door is that the grain is installed the other way around on the dash, so that the door is not high enough to cover the long part of the dash (from steering column to glove box) in one piece. So a door works great for a small section, but not for a full dash.

But then again I might be wrong.

My dash could also use new fabric. If what Michael is offering doesn't work, I'll be glad to split the cost of a whole yard, once you're done you can mail it to me.

Anyone knows who actually sells this?

    Thanks
    Henry

I got a strip just big enough for the dash from Original Fit Interiors. It is very close in appearance to the original, and cost all of $10.
