911R engine lid grill material-group buy on PP

If anyone is looking for the correct expanded metal mesh to use for a 911R decklid grille, there is a group buy forming up on PP to import some from Europe. I have looked high and low for a local source for the right size aluminum mesh, and can only find it in the flattened variety, not the raised mesh similar to OEM, which is a metric material, as far as I can determine, and not available readily in the USA.

Anyway, the thread is here on Pelican Parts, and if you have not seen it and want to get in on the buy, you might go over there and read it and sign up. They are trying to get it wrapped up by Wed., Oct. 3rd. Please read all the way thru it to answer any questions you might have before responding.
