    KLIPPAN seat belts?

    Hello,
Has anybody heared of KLIPPAN seat belts used in early 911 like in the picture?
They have plastic shifters on both sides to adjust the belt length.

Klippan is (was?) a Swedish brand, fitted also in Volvos of the period. Unfortunatly it is the only info I have.

My Euro/swiss 1971 911 is equipped with original Klippan's, but with a more modern system similar to the REPA's.

I think back then it was one of the few manufacture brand and in Europe, where it was not mandatory to have seatbelts until the 70ies, it was either a dealer installed item or it depended on which market (USA/ROW) a brand was used in factory equipped Porsche's.

Thank you very much for your help, guys!
I think also that it is a dealer installed seatbelt for an SWB car because of the snap in system for the seat belt fixations at the cars chassis.
John, your seatbelt is the correct one for (Europe only delivered?) SWB. Very rare!
