Thread: Recaro S - Left to right change?

  1. #1

Question Recaro S - Left to right change?

Is it possible ("doable") to change a Recaro S seat's structure from left to right? 'Cos I have 2 driver's seats...
I've heard of someone doing it with a non-sport seat...

    Thanks in advance!

    changing Sport seats

    Hello Vasco,
with the regular seat it is easier as with the drivers side, remember you have only one hinge on the outside-and to change that to the passenger side will not work. The changes to the frames could be made and if you get a passenger hinge that would be perfect.
However if you just put the drivers side seat as well on the passenger with the hinge on the tunnel side that fits....but doesn't look right.....
Another option is to swap drivers and passengers seat with someone who is looking for a driver side seat.
Last not least....There is a guy in Germany who converts normal seat hinges into Sport seat hinges and with altered frame you got a passenger seat-that would be the last option.
