    1972 S coupe for sale

I have decided to sell my silver/black 1972 S coupe.
This is a beautiful car which I have maintained and improved during my ownership.
It is #9112301634, engine # 6322269 with COA from Porsche
It is painted in original 8080 silver with sunroof, a/c and tinted windows. Black interior.
It was originally sold in Hollywood, CA. and is a rust free California car throughout.

I will provide a brief description here and several photo, but interested persons can request that I e-mail a full description and photo package.
    Briefly:
Re-painted 3-4 years ago with no signs of filler or accidents. All brightwork is
great. Glass is very nice as is all rubber.
    Exterior is very nice overall.
Interior is also very nice with leather sportseats and most all other interior elements either restored or in like new condition, including restored door pockets and panels.
    Suspension rebuilt
Engine rebuilt to 2.7 spec approx. 5,000 miles ago. Ditto gearbox.
    Engine detailed
    S.S. sport exhaust
    Re-built A/C
Original papers, manual, jack and complete and correct tool kit are included.

This is a very fast, beautiful "S" with a great exhaust note. Completely sorted and and ready to drive to Rennsport. The car is near Atlanta, Ga.
    The price is: $68,500.0

I've had the pleasure of driving this car. It's nice. The seats ARE perfectly broken in and if you don't know what that means you've never had NEW Recaros (where you sit on top of them a long time...until).

It's plenty fast and does things right. I see that it's not aged much since purchased a few years ago.

    If only...

    Best,

    Tom

Just an update, the car did have a solid deposit on it within 24 hours of the listing, so I guess there's no lack of interest in early S cars. The sale is pending completion.
Tom, the seats are just as comfortable as ever, and it is still just as wickedly fast as ever. I will have to get used to my volkswagen-like in comparison 73-1/2T for now.
