    Shipping Recommendations For Large Parts

    Any suggestions for shippers in USA for shipping large parts like fenders, etc.
    If you have experience please let me know...

    FedEx does pretty big packages. I shipped sport seats with them once. I bet they could do a fender. Greyhound also does large freight, and at reasonable prices.

    Fed Ex gournd works well, as does Geryhound. Just make sure you package stuff well. If desperate for huge parts, http://www.forwardair.com/ is a good freight company that I have used in the past

    I have used UPS for fenders, seats, airplane propellers, etc. They
    sometimes charge a little extra for oversize, but very reasonable IMO.

    Thanks for the info guys....did you pack these large items yourself or have it done....the small items are easy....John

    John, i always use Greyhound, and ship terminal to terminal, hold for pickup. You get a HUGE savings on large boxes, and sometimes you get the item in less than a day.

    Greyhound stocks oversized boxes, like bicycle boxes.
