    67S coupe for sale

I know all of you to be true to the spirit of the old school Porsches. My car has seen me through some great times driving all over the back roads of Oregon and Washington, and on the track at PIR. Now, living in Louisiana with flat straight roads, the driving, the essence of owning a Porsche is gone, and the humidity keeps the car in an air conditioned garage most of the year.

The Car: 1967 911S VIN # 307985S Motor # 961412 (correct series, NOT original). Interior is red on black with later Recarro sport seats, perhaps ’72, with headrest (original seats available), Momo wheel (original available). Exterior is the correct light ivory (6404) and is nearly perfect, two sets of wheels, the original 4.5X15s (5) with tires (refinished by Weidman), and deep 6X15s (5) on the car. The muffler and heat exchangers are SSI. The engine is reasonably fresh, perhaps 5K (Rothsport, Tualatin OR), the odometer reads 74020 and seems reasonable based on the rust free condition. A front Carrera oil cooler has been installed to keep the temperature under control in this Louisiana heat. The carpets are fresh, but the headliner is a little tired.

I’m willing to sell this car for $40,000. I will be happy to supply more pictures to serious buyers on request.

    This is a "GOOD CAR"!!!!!!!

    Tom, don't sell!!!!

Wish I had room for another....

You certainly couldn't buy a resto project and get it into this shape for $40K......

    regards,
    Eric

With some sadness I have to report, the car sold this morning. Thanks for all your interest, laughs, great advice, and your unending devotion to a great car. I have my eye on a Carrera that might be more appropriate for this climate. You all know the new owner who I'm sure will be reporting in soon.

I'm happy to say that the wire transfer has been sent, and within a couple of weeks I'll have this car in my garage!

I've known, and admired this car for some time...., and it's definitely a "keeper".

I told Tom that he can drive the car at the Leavenworth Campout next year, and I hope he takes me up on this!

This car will be kept in Seattle, so that it can be driven on the sunny Winter days that we do sometimes get.

    Thanks again Tom!!
