    Seat Question(s)

    Dear All,
can anyone identify these seats? They are supposed to be Scheel seats from about ´72, but am not sure. Any help appreciated.

Also, any feedback on the quality of seats from www.vintageseats.com? I believe I have seen references to their products, just want to be sure.

    Thanks in advance
    Martin

I saw those seats as well..... they do look like Scheels, but the brackets don't look like Porsche type.

Vintage seats does a very nice job. There's another option with TRE (Dave) out in SoCal who also does very nice seats, and his seats get upholstered by Tony from Autobahn Interiors (best in the business as far as I am concerned).

Dave from TRE is a good contributor to the board, and has a shop that does a lot of car building and tuning for board members.

    regards,
    Eric

I can't say enough good things about Vintage Seats. I bought a set of their new RSX the wide version of the RS. They feel great! A little extra room and I don't feel claustrophobic. They wouldn't even send me an invoice till I got the seats and liked them. I'm sold.
EDIT: I just read the rest of the posts and agree that Dave is fantastic. He just saved my butt with some flairs for a project I'm doing. I didn't know he did seats, and of course everyone knows Tony is top knotch!

Here's a good link right to the gallery page of seats that TRE does. Note that you can also do any other fabric that Tony has available as well.

    David,
many thanks. I do know the Deser seats, they look great, too. Having checked shipping prices to Europe I suppose I will have to go for European seats in any case (or a US manufacturer with EU distributor). But certainly great to see the choice overall.

    Cheers
