Stereo Becker and placing of speakers????

Hi,I need some help from you guys.

At last I got the list from Porsche with the correct options for my car.
    The car is a 1973 2.4S cpé
The first time they gave it 2 radio's???this new one seems correct with what I see on the car.
The car was delivered with M461 (electrical antenna) and M468 (Becker Mexico)
I will not mention the other options here because they are clear to me.
The hole for the antenna was on the right side fender, that seems OK to me.
The antenna was gone, so on the lookout for one.
the thing that wonders me is the radio.
It was a stereo radio-cassette player, but the first owner did not order the speaker option.
Does someone of you guys have any ideas where the speakers where in the car?Obvious not in the dash because that would have been only one.
The car came with a very strange thing under the rear window. instead of the flat plate it was a large dome shape with place for two speakers.
Was this correct for 1973 stereo speakers?
Has anyone some picture of this or does he know how it should be???????
I have a lot of documentation on the early cars but I cannot find this info.

    Thanks in advance

Can't help with the factory location for a stereo speaker, but I will say that my 1972 dealer installed stereo used the dash speaker and mounted (glue and screws) in the center of the rear shelf, facing forward.

I have a rear shelf Blaupunkt surface mount speaker in my '71. The car is pretty much as it was in 71, though I think the speaker was owner installed as it isnt listed on the purchase invoice, or the sticker.

    Becker and speakers

This came up as a question regarding originality for Parade concours. My research in the 72/73 parts book showed NO factory multiple speaker systems, only the dash speaker. Dealers, or previous owners, as has been mentioned above, could have installed most anything, but it was not normal production line install.

I have a Frankfort stereo in my 73S (sportomatic) that I believe must have been dealer installed in 1973. The two speakers are in the lower half of the fixed door pockets of each door with a local manufacture masonite plate/divider placed in the door pocket. The masonite plate was painted black and serves as a sort of false floor in the door pocket.

Unfortunately the original owner is deceased and nobody knows the story of the car

I have seen this soundboard installed in a few old cars. Definately not stock, but I guess it does the job. It mounts to the luggage strap brackets in the rear parcel shelf:

This is another way to proceed, if you want to go for a completely invisible solution:
