Apparently there were 2 bidders for those seats ..

If some one is in search of a set. I have an original unrestored w/ black corduroy set (7 lines an inch?) for about half that price and it will incl. the 73 only double locking recliners.

Please tell me there is no way someone paid OVER TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS for that pair of seats!

Sure they are hard to find but its not like they are the last pair in the world! Am I missing something here?

    Recaro's

High bid mystery solved, I got a second chance offer:

Hi, it turns out the winning bidder was an error in his bid. He meant to bid 3300 and accidentally typed in 33000. The second highest bidder was reported to me by eBay to be a hijacked account. This makes your offer the highest bid and I feel I should offer them to you at that price before putting them back up for auction. Are you still interested in the seats?

    Anyway, I bought them...

911quest, I am reading the posts from bottom to top, a bit late and just read the pelican thread...not sure I really want the seats anymore, me and the seller have to figure something out..keep you posted...

Cees were you able to get the sliders as well? If not what is your solution to that? Just curious after reading Eric's comment on Pelican.
