    Information on a 911RSR widebody

Looking for detail information on the 74/75 911 RSR widebody cars. Besides the Carrera RS book are there other books available? What about original and reproduction parts such as the gas tank, brakes, slide valves, seat, oil thermostats, knock off wheels, twin plug heads, distributor, suspension pieces, etc? Thanks Ron

    Ron:

Pete Starkey's R to RSR is a good source, also Paul Frere's Porsche 911 Story, plus The Porsche Book by Boschen and Barth is a great resource. The last is out of print, but you may be able to find a copy.

There are some great web sites around that have many pics of the 74/75 RSRs, so just cruise the internet. Here is a good one.

Some of that stuff is available as repro parts, the 110 L plastic tank from various places including http://www.sgracingclassic.com. Centrelock wheels are being reproduced by a couple of guys in the USA, I am sure if you do a search here you will find details.

The RSR caliper from DP Motorsport in Germany

If you are after genuine parts then try Russell Edmond-Harris in the UK
