FS: Solid 1967 Soft Window Targa $17,500.00

Thought I would offer this up here before I put it on Ebay...

    Chassis number: 500558
Engine type: 901/06 Engine number: 911948
    Paint code: 6602 (Polo Red)

Super original car. Interior upholstery, horn button, sun visors, targa top, gauges, and chrome are all in quite remarkable condition. The folding rear window shows as new - no scratches or cracks, perfectly clear. There is NO chassis rust with original front pan and floors. The body only has a small rust spot behind the driver's rear wheel arch about the size of a quarter - that's it.

The engine was rebuilt along with the webers before a 20 year storage. The car will run, but partial disassembly has rendered this car as non-operational.

Easy restoration for the right person. Price is $17,500

Over 50 photos if your interested. jpnorthwood@aol.com

Agian, more photos. Just trying to show that you won't have to do the normal metal work on this one.

Original interior. NO rips, or tears, hardly any wear. The speaker area of the top dash pad is ripped, but this is the early 2 piece dash. I have one that is good that will go with the car.

More interior photos. Car does have original carpets and rubber mats in good to excellent condition. The seats did come from the factory with adjustable headrests, but they have gone MIA and are not there now. The trani is a 5 spd., not the std. 4 spd.

The car was repainted many years ago, but the door, front, and rear trunk jambs are original. The rarga top is in great shape. The handles aren't even nicked up - look like new!

The rear Soft Window Plastic is as new. The vinyl excellent. The motor is CLEAN underneath, and YES it does have oil in it.

Looks like a really solid old car. Targa's are usually so rusty, especially SWB's.
