Count me in for one if you get this going. I'll see if I can the remains of the sticker from my '70E, and send it your way.

Nick, my car is a German delivery 70S, when I got home I checked all my decals that were originally on the car as I kept them all after I replaced with new ones in 1980, to my surprise the one that the car came with from the factory does not have the "2200cc" in the bottom of the circle. I have scanned the original one for you. This begs the question on what car was the one that had the "2200cc" on?

    All,
This is what we are looking for !!
At last I have managed to outwit my computer and get it to post the pic !!
I think I got this from a similar thread on Pelican some time ago but I can't remember whose car this is on
I will see if I can do some measurements from the pic and it may be that the decal was a 'standard size' for other decals of the period as well.
Robert - you would be doing a lot of us a huge favour if these decals can be made.

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

    The part number I have for the '2200' decal is 911 006 510 00.
I have always assumed that the decal Nick and Rudy have posted was a generic replacement for the '2200' and '2000' decals of '69 to '71 but Rudy has asked the question of what market each of these relates to.
OT - Rudy - your houndstooth material goes very well with my newly renovated seats - thanks !

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

Just to confuse the issue even more ,here is a pic of a 2.0 S decal.
I am more convinced that the decal Nick has posted is 'generic' replacement for the 2.0 and 2.2 S/E decals.

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

    Rudy,
Could you please give us the exact measurements of your 2200 decal in both inches and mm ?

    TIA

    7"w x 1 5/8" h (1" = 2.54 cm.) I'll let you do the math I don't have a metric ruler handy.
