    Testing the Waters...

    ...of the beautiful Colorado River.

What would you guys think of a "Red Rocks Renn Run" next fall?

This would be a scenic fun run in some of the most beautiful country the US has to offer:

    * Stay at the "Red Cliffs Lodge and Winery" http://www.redcliffslodge.com/
    * Driving Tours through the La Sal Mountains (dinosaur foot prints etc.)
    * 1/2 Day horse back rides.
    * Tour Arches National Park
    * Scenic dinner and night tour of the Colorado River

Thoughts? Care to "drive'm" to Planet Utah? It's a day drive from LA, Denver, SLC, Phoenix, etc...

    Eric,

Sounds like a great idea for a tour. Great scenery & epic drives.

A nice day detour from Moab would be a drive thru Old La Sal, east into Colorado to Naturita, then up to the Discovery car museum in Gateway, CO.
These roads are loaded with twisties, high speed corners & some wide open
straight-aways that go on for miles. Best part is they are virutally deserted highways !

I only live about 160 miles from Moab, so I'd do this ride anytime in the spring or fall

    Colorado Fall Tour

Wow! Great scenery! I would certainly be interested (so long as it is not scheduled the last week of October... already committed).

Mid to late September is the best time to hit Moab.

    Beautiful photo, Eric.
    Coming from you... wow :O

Thanks... twas just a point and shoot. It's hard to take bad pictures in Moab though. Glad the switch made it.

We'll leave it open. I was just testing the waters. It sure is beautiful there. If September works and we get enough interest, we'll make a plan.
