Matt Stone's new book; McQueen's Machines

Got it over the weekend. For me it represents a bit of a maturing in my reading habits towards quasi-biographical material. The article in Pano is what pushed me over the edge on this purchase. Stone's writing style is just so fluid and natural; very easy to read. For personal reasons (long, sad story) I find the Chad/Steve aspect of the story fascinating as well.

Some of the candid photos are worth studying and show McQueen to be the kind of guy you'd like to have a beer and talk shop with. Some of the stories show him to be a bit of a character (seeing his old Siata on the road, waving it down and telling the new owner 'i want to drive'). Just a great all around read.
