Hey Mark, I may have what you need. BUT, don't get too excited yet I haven't looked at this gearbox in awhile and it may be a 902/01. I just can't remember. I'll confirm today and get back to you.

I believe I have a 901/02 in the garage -- completely rebuilt, in wooden crate, with toe tags for gear ratios and noting to add oil -- clean as a whistle. I was going to pull the gears, synchros, etc., to refresh a 69E tranny (that I don't have yet). I bought it a while back but don't have any paperwork on it. It has a '65 date stamp on it though.

    Smile 67S Tranny

    Spinmd:

thanks for the response. Any pictures, product and serial number would really help identify that transmission to see if would work in my car? I am not sure about a 901/02 with a 65 date stamp. Grady or Kenik, any thoughts?

    Mark,

Just checked my notes. Mine is a 902/1 transaxle, serial # 222127, 14/65, AFMSX 5-speed gearing. Sorry about that misinformation.

Well not sure what I have. The serial # is 1230207 Manufactured 24/67 The box # is 90?/02 I can't read the whole box #. What is waking me wonder is the flanges are bolted in. If my memory serves, I thought the earlier boxes had the big clips and the bolts came later? Not sure when the change was made and I prefer the bolts.

    67 Tranny

    Rick:

Not sure what you have as the serial number should be 6 digits. For instance the one called for in my COA, is 104159, type 901/02 for my 67S. Can you send me an email or pm with some pictures or post it up and let's see what you have. If a 901/02 for a 67S, I would be real interested. Grady, have any thoughts?
