    Suspension questions

OK firstly how do I check my torsion bar sizes? Is there an easy way without pulling the whole shebang apart?

Also I'm looking at going with Bilstein Struts in my '71. Other than changing ball joints are there any other changes required?

    Thanks Guys

    Cam..

You have to pull it out and measure the diameter in the center of the bar...the only thing the fronts have stamped on the ends are the L and R side marks and a twist direction arrow...this is a good time to check them anyway for rust and corrosion...and put one of the seals back on....it is the grey part that crumbled in your hand as you take them out...

The Bilstiens will bolt up just fine on your 71'

    Good luck with the project!
