What is a good working set of S calipers with pads worth. Not rebuilt, but in nice working condition; clean, install and go?

    Thanks,

    Price is all about condition.

Take a look at the first link again, they are in very good "original" condition. Most pre 73 S calipers are much more pitted/worn/marked than those. If anyone has similar condition calipers for sale at $300-400 I am sure they will have no problem selling them.

I have a pair that I was going to put on my E. I was going to rebuild them in my spare time, I would not mind selling them to a Registry Member in need. One is apart, the other is still assembled/ATE Rebuild kit included (they don't come with the larger o-ring for the back plate, but I have heard that is a dealer item). PM if interested.

I have a new spare set that the previous owner of my car said
    they were "S" calipers.

Dumb question here, but how do I tell the difference between
the S calipers and the standard T calipers?
