This is what it looked like, a little rust here and a little rust there..... Is there anything worth saving, maybe the headrests?

WM711 did you get this car? Wonder what's under the cover next to it?

I think its also what parts you have to fix it , and what your metalman charges and what you can do yourself ,
I have seen just as bad 356s rebuilt , and this is an "S" which is about all it has going for it except the cheap price ,
If I saw it at that price I would buy it just for bragging rights

Yes it sold for $800 and it went to Sheridan Wyoming I was told by seller!
Three guesses who that is and the first two don't count...
I considered buying that until I saw the pictures. Yikes.

looks as good as the blue one in the video that they lifted off the trailer with a crane and strap sling
John from Wyoming did agree to purchase the car, and sent a cashiers check out via FedEx in the "sellers" name. John got an email back to the effect the seller is no longer able to go thru with the sale. Nothing was mentioned about the $$$ being returned.
I don't know if there is some type of poetic justice going on here, or if this is a scam. I would be careful and do the exchange of money in person - whomever is the buyer, and if there really is a car.
