Many of my fellow R Gruppe members have seen this car at last year's SLO trefetthen. We listed it for sale the night before we left and it sold in 4 hours. Needless to say, we were shocked and sad. The current owner lives in Florida and loves the car, but also ownes dozens of other cars and really doesn't have the time to enjoy this car. He has only driven it about 100 miles since he got it. He asked me to help list it again for him.
Here are the details:

If you have been looking for a clean RS/ST conversion that is truly “done” right, than this is the car for you. So many RS conversions out there are high mileage cars with rust or in need of mechanical attention, it is just plain hard to find a nice driver to enjoy without having to stick a ton of money into. This is the perfect and unique R Gruppe car . It is ready to cruise, bomb the canyons, or take to a track event.
This car was originally a 1973 911T with only 70,000 miles when the previous owner decided to begin an RS conversion. The car was originally located in the Seattle area. The owner began to completely strip the car down to its bare metal and replace everything. The body shop bill was almost $13,000 alone! A factory set of original RS fender flares was correctly butt-welded to the rear and then entire car was repainted its original RS yellow. When it was reassembled, all new trim, lenses, rubber, interior pieces, glass, headliner and sun visors were used.
The motor was rebuilt to a very strong 2.4 S spec motor with beautifully rebuilt Weber carburetors. A 7R case was used as well as 2.2 S pistons. The cylinder heads were custom ported as well. The 915 transmission was also rebuilt. The engine dyno tested at 200hp to the flywheel.
Shortly after completion, the next owner (local SoCal R Gruppe member) decided to purchase the car and spend the next 3 years investing another $15,000 perfecting the car. This owner was truly fanatical and wanted the car near perfect. He had Andial, Aase Motors, and TRE Motorsports do the rest of the work. He only wanted the best to work on the car. This is what he did to the car:
Replaced entire muffler/exhaust/heat exchanger system with SSI stainless
Installed hydraulic tensioners
Aase Motors rebuilt the Webers

This car is truly ready to be driven and enjoyed. Weighing only 2,200 lbs with 180-200hp, it is a quick and nimble car. It is harder and harder to fine clean and well-sorted early RS style cars that you don’t have to sink a ton of money into. This one is ready to be enjoyed.
All keys, books, and records are included.
