    73 RSR oil cooler help!

Anybody have a better picture than this, of the modification to the front panel to allow air to circulate behind the bumper mounted oil cooler on the 1973 RSR (this looks a 74) Want to fabricate this part but unsure of the correct shape. Anybody already supplying the panel perhaps? Your help greatly appreciated!

Checked the obvious places, Armando and so on.

    cheers, Mike

You can also cut out the battery boxes and build an airbox that channels the air from the cooler through the prior box openings. Thermostat-controlled exhaust draw-thru fans would be great too, especially in warm climates or high-traffic. Don't have to cut the hood as in the Elephant example above... preserving the original lines.

Here is a link to a similar settup for a '73 RS 3.6TT...

    Still in rough mock-up...

    Mike

I have what I think is an origional 1973 RSR panel that I am going to put on my car. If you need more pictures or dimensions for the panel, or any other areas of an origional 1973 RSR give me a yell.
