This is a beautiful example of a fun/sleeper 911 S with tons of collectibility potential. Its 2.7 RS spec motor really screams and is beautifully done.

This car was originally an Italian car with the speedometer reading in km. The car was brought over the U.S. sometime in 1973 where it got a New York registration/title, which we still have. This car was restored by Rick Cabel. For those of you who don’t know Rick, he is really one of the better Porsche car restorers out there…he really does things right!

The motor is the original, number matching motor that has been rebuilt to 2.7 RS spec. Complete with rebuilt MFI 019 pump, higher compression, SSI heat exchangers, turbo tie rods, rebuilt 915 gearbox with close-ratio gears and a new Sachs power clutch.

The interior is just as fresh with factory leather sport seats, new correct carpeting, new Coco mats, beautiful original Blaupunkt radio, and rebuilt targa top. The body is in excellent condition as well and really looks stunning in its original color. The only flaw is that one of the door pocket’s bungees is a bit loose and needs to be retightened and there are a couple of small cracks in the dashboard. Also, the clock does not work.

The exterior is in great shape and really needs very little. There are no signs of rust and the paint looks great. The Fuchs are a bit tarnished due to age but that is about it.

This car comes nicely equipped with factory sport seats, Horn-Grill fog lamps, rear fog lamp, and 7” Fuchs all the way around.
The car comes with new tires as well as a recent corner balance/alignment. Within the last 100 miles, the current owner spent $5,800 on repairs which included removing the drivetrain and fixing any and all oil leaks. Also, a complete service was performed. Everything mechanically on this car is ready to go.

The car comes with all the keys and books/manuals.
