Thread: MFI Airbox hose connection

    MFI Airbox hose connection

Was doing some oil/grime cleanup work post-A/C delete and when I removed the air cleaner housing I noticed there was a hose just laying there disconnected. It looks just like the hose that was connected to the housing (lower one in pic). Anyone know where the top one is supposed to go?

    Thanks for the help!

Those look like the hoses for the fuel tank ventilation system. One goes on the nipple on the fan shroud behind the fan, and I THINK the other one goes on half of the crankcase vent fitting on the air cleaner-- but NOT the nipple for the oil drain, that goes to the oil drain hose to the oil reservoir on the side of the engine.

Interesting, I wonder if they're both equal in function (both must come off the charcoal canister). I'll look for the shroud connection, thanks.
