    glen kurrus,arrested,extridited

    glen kurrus,the former propreitor of paradise garage was arrested in calif,and extridited to conn.on 12/20 he was arrigned on three felony counts 2 of larancy,and one for fraud.he is being held in lieu of $150,000 bond,his next court appreance is 1/8/08 at 9:30am in litchfield,ct superior court;also the newspaper is reporting federal bankrupcy filing by him

    one of the all time bad guys in the collector car hobby!!

    When I think of the rip-off artists that I've seen in the old car world, all of whom escaped prosecution basically because they weren't bad enough to bother with, I've got to believe that this Kurrus guy was unbelievable.

    Closure

    Frank, I know what an aggravation that whole situation was for you. I hope he gets what he deserves and you can have closure on the issue. Happy holidays! tom

    I've not been wronged by him personally but others who frequent, run ads, and sell stuff on this board and who are currently under discussion (at large) have (I feel) misrepresented their wares and I was taken in.

    But only once...

    My fault, CAVEAT EMPTOR. But one expects more from this community, perhaps naively.... Not gonna happen again.
