    Earl the Pearl in Print...

Reading through Excellence Mag last night....

Out of no where Steely Eyed Earl Green is quoted... Not Just quoted but part of the entire article....If you get the time it is a great read...New issue. I think it is titled "Getting Out There". Could someone scan it and can Post it.

For those of you that don't know Earl. He is one of the early members of the R Gruppe... He traded in his street rod for a Toyo Cup early 911. He runs the wheels off it.... At the least he is faster than the Editor of Excellence.... Just a joke Pete

Congrats Earl..... Keep that thing on the track....

    Thumbs up

    Right on ARL!!!

For those who have kept up with Earl's recent progress on the race track this accolade is not surprising - he has shown tremendous advances in his race craft.

A few people here have had their car featured in Excellence, but for YOU to be featured - well, that's gotta be a rush.

    Way to go Earl!

Earl is a stud. Nicest guy around and the Northwest is lucky to have him.

    Choked Up

Wow guys... I'm all choked up!

I know your all secretly building 911 spec racers this winter!

The PRC is a great group and we all had a blast with Pete Stout that weekend. He did incredibly well for his first race!

This winter we are building 4 more cars in Portland. There is also 4 or 5 more being built in California. With 35 total cars built in the class we should have a 20 car field show up for each race next season.

    Congrats Earl,

As one of the lucky 15, I had the honor of watching your line, and attempting to copy. Way to go. Is the article in the latest Excellence (the one that's been out for a month)?

What are the specs for a "911 Spec Racer?"

    Hey Chris,

The article is in the Feb copy. Pete listed the specs in the article but here is a link to the 06 rules which are soon to be amended.

It was Toyo Cup until this last season when Toyo dropped sponsorship.
