    Life Outside of SoCal

Just wanted to let you lucky P-Dawgs living in Southern California know that there are signs of Porsche life elsewhere! It's real easy to drift around corners here in Central Oregon right now.

    Happy New Year to all.

    Cheers,
    JohnA

Your cars might be better off in sunny florida

Just concerned about the potential for rust....happy to give the Audette Collection a good winter home on the farm in Alachua.......too hot to drive without air in the summer here so happy to arrange shipping back to bend around June

    Just a thought....Happy New Year!!!!

+1 from me Jason on the Florida thing. Next winter I'm bringing my lil black ho along with me down here. Oh wait, I was in SoCal last winter at this time. Hmmmm, it's really nice there too. Crap, what's a fella stuck in a snowbelt supposed to do? I know....MOVE OF COURSE!

There will be no 911 driving in Michigan today.
This is the view I woke up to, out my front window. Wish there was a live feed of the So Cal New Years Day Run. Would be SO much more interesting than the Rose Bowl!

Betcha can't wait to get back home and shovel... right Paul??

Go drive it!! Just takes alot of cleaning when you're done Developing driving technique in the snow takes practice and some studded tires. Will put a smile on your face every time. Plus the heat is better in the 911 than my Tahoe.

What a great way to start the new year. My goal is 300 driving days this year - thats tough to do in New England. Go John!

3 1/2 feet on the ground and I haven't even caught up with yesterday's foot or so. We're expecting 14" or more today and tomorrow.

I'd love to put some skinny studded snows on a 911 and go blasting around in the snow/salt... someone else's 911 that is!

Sorry fellas but I've spent my entire life buried in lake effect snow (keep an eye on Buffalo, NY weather in the winter) and I'm here to say "IT SUCKS BIGTIME". I'd much prefer to live in warm climates where I can run my car anytime I feel like it. You suthunas got it made.

    SoCal weather

Jens is it the 9 mos of snow or the 3 mos of bad skiing? It's so cold up here in NoCal that I actually had to turn my heater on in my 911 almost all the way to work. (The red lever for the SoCal guys)

Harvey, that was a cruel thing to say, I was getting chills just looking at that picture of the snow covered plow. It was cold enough here in Ft. Worth today that I had to keep my window part way up in the 'S' OOOPS, now I went and did it...damn I'm sorry!

I feel for you northern guys. I know how you must feel- I just went for a blast this evening here in Austin Tx and I had to roll up the windows! It must have been down around 55 degrees.
