    Does anyone know this car?

Chronic lurker, rarely a poster, I am still slowly and deliberately searching for an R Gruppe type of car, very well sorted. I was emailing with this individual some time ago and cannot find his contact info. Not even sure whether the car is still for sale. Out of respect for the owner, I do not want to post rear pictures with plates, but will do some photoshopping if needed to identify it. Has an R Gruppe license plate frame with black California plates.

I recognize the car, and am pretty sure it was sold within the last 6 months by Canepa. Other more astute and informed members may have more info, but that's what I recall. It is a well sorted, nicely prepared car. I think it was originally a 912 if I'm not mistaken on its identity.

well here is the rear, I took out the plate number.... looks like originally a 'T', not 912, so hopefully you are wrong, but maybe not (?)... anyway, it is one of a few cars that I trying to follow up on, but the only for which I cannot find contact info... any help is appreciated..

    thanks

    Canepa

Canepa Design did have it at some point after being posted here and it did indeed start life as a 912.

Don't know whatever happened after they got it.

when Frank Enea still owned the car, it was offered to me with the following info:

One of the finest “T/R” replicas ever made is offered below. It was built by my personal Porsche mechanic David Loop of Loop European in Monterey, CA. David is known for his exquisite and attention to detail production of the new rage in “R Gruppe” type of Porsches. David’s cars are phenomenal for street usage, track events or show circuits. I have owned one of his cars and never had a better “R Gruppe” type of car. He is totally aware of how to put everything together that offers comfort, speed and reliability. See below the specs of the car and the above attachments for detailed photos of this great car. Price: $
