    Coppola 67 S Thread.

What happened to the earlier thread?

Discussions of offerings is a part of the education process for me.
I understand there was some contention, IMO not any more than usual, but there was also discussion of a significant auction [to me]. I can understand modifying posts. I do not understand pulling the entire thread. It does seem like this is a reaction to the squabble being between two EarlyS insiders [nobility] vs relative unknowns of Jack and Yale.

Well, Schmidt started deleting his posts in the thread. Viper, fresh from the slopes jumped into the fray (predictable ) and pretty much insulted the entire board with a couple of tirades. Chuck announced Schmidt's retirement from the board and the pending deletion of the entire thread. Viper, I noticed just before the thread deletion, was banned and seems to be gone from the collective memory. Stacy got the last word in I think .

Oh, and I'm in the 99.9 percentile COOL!

Yep! total trainwreck but, a great download

varunan123...To answer your question from last night. You have the ability to delete your own posts. Select one of your posts, go to the edit screen and you will see the option to delete. Chuck was not deleting Schmidt's posts on his behalf.

Wow. I really missed something. I'm sorry to lose Schmidt - he knows a heck of a lot about early 911s.

Appears that every post/reply ever written by Jeff has been deleted as well.
Too bad, a lot of good technical info in those posts. Seems a bit extreme, but hey what do I know, I missed the entire 2nd half of this one....

    Get a clue.

No one will want to post cars here to be called names -the seller in the Coppola post was called a RAT -why for putting his car up here?

The guy 'smells like a rat' because he bought the car and resells it 6 months later for some profit -its his car he can sell it for whatever price he wants! -and he should not have his reputation tarnished HERE for bringing the car to the board.

    -which is apparently what ocurred.

It used to be that only cars got bashed on here, but now peoples reputations and possibly livelihoods are getting chopped up here.

    Alot of haters.
Sorry to hear someone who presented here now pulled out completely -though it was bound to happen eventually.
