beware of dealer on ebay who sells a 911 '66

Hi, just a quick warning on a seller on ebay , has currently a '66 911 for sale.

I bought a car from him 5 months ago and it was TOTALLY mispresented.
My fault that I did not get an PPI for the car but he said tha car was fine with minimal rust and in fact turned out to be a car with totally wrotten floors and drivers sill.
It also had been in an accident so don't need to tell you that I was VERY angry with him and we couldn't get things sorted after the sale ( I live in europe )

His name is John and he runs a company that merely sells porsches.

    His feedback

is 100%. Why didn't you leave him bad eBay feedback?

bought the car on the samba and did leave feedback there.
the other thing with ebay is that once you buy the car and it is here in the flesh ( europe ) the time ebay gives you for feedback is long past.

I read your thread and was surprised when I followed your link to the site mentioned.

The company in question is run by a chap named John Hauselt. I have purchased two (2) cars from him over the phone (sight unseen). Both were listed on ebay and after photos were sent to me, I got him to pull the cars off ebay and sell to me directly. (1) 356B (2)'69 911T

I am on the east coast, he is on the west and I have NEVER met the man or been to his facility. I bought BOTH cars based only on his description and photos that he emailed to me. When the cars arrived, both cars were EXACTLY as described.

I do not know what transpired in your deal, but I can unequivocally recommend John and his business. There are usually three(3) sides to every story (Yours, His and what really happened).

If I can help mediate by calling John on your behalf, I will be happy to. I have found that he has been a very reasonable man to do business with.

Feel free to PM or email me if you care to,

    Chuck

    Bas,

I called John and left a voice mail, He called me back and missed me as well...... so we're playing phone tag.

    I'll keep trying.
