    WTB cinnamon leatherette

I would like to buy enough cinnamon leatherette from the 72/73 model year to cover my radio opening; a piece from the vent/fan controls to the glove box will be the length. A little longer actually to wrap the glove box end. Width would be the distance between the two alu trim strips on the dash. If anyone has bits and pieces of a cinnamon interior and could help me out, I would be able to put the finishing touch on my interior. I have a total delete, stripper 73S, aubergine/cin of Italian origin. Over the last year have been able to save the original interior with a lot of work. Removal, cleaning, gluing, sewing etc. and reinstallation. I saved the carpets as well. Help save a survivor interior. Thanks, Steve Shea #2 ESR

Steve, have you thought about using a piece of the easier to find black vinyl, and dying it with Colors Plus? They do a perfect match to existing colors, if you send them a sample.

Tom, Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried Colors Plus. They could not do it because cinnamon leatherette is actually a slightly two tone vinyl. It's basically a tan with darker swirls over it. It does look like a stick of cinnamon. With the Colors Plus system you get an average of the two tone and it doesn't look right. Thanks for the idea though, I've had good success with Colors Plus on 356 projects. Steve
