380 mm 914-6 / "RS" steering wheel with extended hub FS

This is the steering wheel that I recovered for my car last year. This is an original 914-6 wheel with the part # 914.347.804.10. Date code is 1/70

Unlike most recover jobs, this wheel has the correct fine grain leather. Most restoration shops use a heavy grain leather that looks cheap. Also, you will notice that the spokes have been finished properly. Even the $350.00 recover jobs usually have the edges cut off raw instead of being skived and neatly folded over like the factory did.

Included on this wheel is an aluminum hub spacer that is an diminsional replica of the original, only made from aluminum instead of plastic. It is all held together with allen head hardware. This moves the wheel back approx 1 1/4" so that your knuckles dont hit the dash.

I will also include the aluminum insert that snaps in the face of the hub to back up the horn button cup

The only notable flaw in the wheel is at the very bottom where the two seams meet. There is a small gap and the bottom seam doesnt exactly line up from front to back. Once installed on the car, you would need to essentially stick your head into the center of the wheel to see this, but I want to point it out.

This wheel looks great and feels better than any 380mm factory wheel you have ever installed in a 911!

    $650.00

Anybody know where a guy may find a spacer like that for a 380mm wheel?
