    Talbot Mirror question

The COA states that my 68L came with a Talbot mirror. Does anyone know what model? 333, 330, green dot, no dot? Did the factory ever mount them on the fender? Thanks

No green dot. Those were a later variation, mid to late 70s. I don't think it was the 330 either. That one is the swept back version I think. I want to say 303? or junior????

    Yes,
Talbots were frequently mounted on the fenders to ensure better visibilty and not to have to divert your eyes from the road, as you would have to if they were mounted on the doors in the usual place. Fender mounted Talbots were most often found on Sports Purpose race /rally cars.

Talbots with green dots are Later.

I believe the number is 300. I have a nos pair in high polished aluminum. I guess they were the GT model, lighter then chromed brass.

The logo is stamped unto the metal no green dot which is later.

I was told they were the type delivered on the mercedes 300SL.

Anyway they are not the junior's I used to have a web link to show the differences and model numbers but I guess I didn't bookmark it.
