    Sweet!!!!!!

I love the sound of these cars when listening from outside the car. For some strange reason I dont think the sound is as great listening from inside the car....

You should hear a GT3RS in the cockpit.

Mark Scott and I both have George's headers with a custom stainless steel "Stinger" Exhaust. They look like the new GT3 exhaust. Nothing sounds better.
After our races, Porsche people come by and ask what we are running for headers/exhaust.
We will be at Cal Speedway in a month for a 3 day race.

What is the displacement of the engine? I like the sound of a high compression "small" engine!!! They "wail" a little better. A couple of cars sounded "smaller" than others.
Kind of like the Judd making 10K vs. a Honda doing almost 2X that or a big block vs. a small block...

No doubt, the systems sound sweet.

The Porsches are either 2.5L or 2.0L.
Some guys have this crazy expensive exhaust ($2500+) that does not seem to help them over the system Mark (Red 911) and I (Blue with silver stripes)have. We only paid around a $1000 for (including the cost of headers)the whole system. IMHO it also sounds better.

    Thumbs up

Just to put into perspective just how fast Chad and boys are go'n...

To compare times at a track I know well… Willow Springs Raceway (Big Willow)

In my strong 2.7, on pretty much the same tires these guys are running, taking my best time (thinking foolishly I could sustain that pace )

I would be LAPPED by these 2 liter cars in under 12 laps, and it would take about 6 laps for the 2.5's …

All this with them having virtually NO aero at all!!!

Also, remembering the 'old' 2 liter C-Production 911 times as I do …. These guys are turning between 2 and 3 seconds a lap better then anyone 'back in the day' … and those dudes were going for the runoffs and dealership help (money)…

You kind'a have to see these guys it to believe it….

My hat, and everything else I got, is off to them….

    Cheers

You must be getting slow, Chuck.

All kidding aside, a nicely "tuned" (ahem...) 2.0 liter engine makes the "Banshee Wail" like nothing else.

    Best,
