This is one of the most breathtaking cars to grace my screen - absolutely love it from bumper to bumper.

Don; Is this one of the cars sometimes referred to as T/R? The reason I ask is that I have a friend building a race car from a good 67 912 tub, and I told him maybe go for an other SWB racecar replica then the 911R. Great car by the way, I wonder how many cars with the special rally and sports kits are out there maybe disguised under 80's look rebuilds.....

Don, I'm not sure how I managed to not run into you, but I spent about an hour checking out the 68 and the TA in the paddock. Anyway, here's The Boys ready to head out onto the track ....

Awsome picture Curt. Yea I do not know how we did not see each other either. I did not have time to take any pictures so thanks for taking it. All Please e mail me any more that any you may have of my cars Don@Porsport.com I really appreciate it.

The car in question is a lightweight 911L not to be confused with a USA L. These were homoligated for gruppe 2 and the lightweight T aka TR was gruppe 3. I am motivated to sell both cars. The factory lightweight car I will consider an offer in the mid 2s and the 68 Trans Am Champion in the low 100s. Will consider partial trades. Thanks again guys.

    Best,

    Don

Don, I have some really cool action shots of your cars at RRIII. I would be more than happy to send you the best of what I have. I will just have to go through my hugh pile of pics to pull them out. Love those cars by the way. One of the things that bugs me about the 2.0L race cars today is that very few of them look vintage in as raced configuration. That is the look that I like about your cars. My sister runs a 2.0L S and I have been bugging her to make it look more period. I guess they are more concerned with running faster lap times than a period looking car and paint scheme. OK, now that I said that, I will put on the armour and get ready for all the shots from the 2.0L racers out there.

    Don,
I am really sorry, but I thought I had photos. Evidently, two other red cars captured my attention during the races - the ex-Bruce Jennings car #177 and #77. I thought I had some pics of the 68 trans am car. Darn it, sorry about the confusion. I do have a couple of the Adamowicz car, though, if you are interested.
