Any source for a reproduction of these factory jackets?

I saw Gerard Lourousse wearing his original from 68 at Rennsport and thought how cool it would be to have one. Anyone ever seen any?

My dad worked for Firestone in the 60's and 70's, and although it has been a lot of years, I almost swear that he had a jacket like this that said "Firestone" where these say "Porsche". I'm going through his closet next time I'm at his house.

Owning one of those would be quite cool; maybe Nicole would have a source? Since we're on the subject of jackets, here is the best I have to contribute http://grandprixjackets.com/english/index.html

Here's a pic I took of Gerard in his jacket @ RRIII... definitely on the best dressed list.
I was totally "star-struck" meeting him!

I'm sure there are a variety of oven mitt manufacturers who'd be glad to help you out.

    Jared,

When I saw Larousse, he was wearing day-glo yellow quilted jacket. Didnt see him in the silver one. Cool that he still has them.....and fits in them!

Sandy, your mother wears army boots!

She actually wears a lot of slip-on Keds.

But you guys go get those jackets. And when you feel like people are sneaking stares at you, it's not because those jackets are frightening. It's because they're AWESOME!

Here ya go Dave .... Dickie's quilted jacket. $25 at your local WallyMart. With the correct embroidery/patches, you'd be pretty close! That style jacket was popular on the ski slopes in the 70's.
