House MD has an early 911

House MD is my favorite TV show.

I think it's just him out and about in "real" life.

On the show, he drives a Honda crotch rocket.

Refreshing to see a celebrity in a longhood rather than the latest big winged, decal clad, 800hp turbo-wonder. Very cool Doc!

Had a TV spotting recently. There'a a brief scene in "The Company" (a 4 episode miniseries about the CIA through the cold war era) where an Irish Green 911/912 is pulling into the CIA HQ. The gate raises after being cleared by the security guard and it drives in. Very brief, but I figure it was a bit of homage to Redford's car in Spy Games.

    That's Hugh Laurie

It's nice to see someone besides Seinfeld at least. It's a 70-71 with that round Durant mirror, deep sixes, and trigger door handles. Wonder if it's a T,E, or an S.

House is the best show on TV. I think Hugh Laurie doesn't get near the credit he deserves for that role - he pulls off the American "accent" like a true professional.

As for the Porsche, well, maybe he'd be interested in adding my hotrod to the stable?
