    original porsche luggage on e-bay

I have listed on E-Bay a piece of "factory supplied" leather luggage that fit in late 356's and early 911's.
It is in near mint condition, black leather. Fits behind rear seats.
    See listing # 300200483924.

    luggage

Any idea what an original tartan 356 canvas luggage bag is worth? Condition is very good.

    Thanks.

Its from the same series of suit cases from Porsche, but not the same as the one pictured? Yours looks to be deeper and as you say for the fold down rear seats. Because its deeper it probably will not fit in the front trunk where it is pictured in the accessories catalog? I think I have seen a picture of the ones for the rear seat , but can not remember where, I think it was in a picture showing the leather straps that was supposed to hold them in place. Beautiful piece!

    BTW
    - trunk:
"large size" luggage has a third central lock.
    - rear shelf:
"medium size" luggage either with "rounded" locks w NO central lock or "square" locks and w central lock.
Not shure ebay item is "correct" since it has additional side handle, anybody ?

    luggage for 356

I believe it could slightly earlier, a luggage specifically made for the 356 with the handles on the side circa early Sixties. This one would sit as a pair on top of a larger one.

Milou is correct. As a matter of fact assuming it's authenic Porsche (there were some similar luggage pieces available) than this was available from MY 58 / A T2 all the way to the end of the SWB 911 (it could be ordered under part# 644.802.101.52).

A single piece for 4.200? So a full set of 5 would be worth more than 20.000? Is this the usual value for the luggage?

    Frank,

Is this the piece you speak of? I saved these pics from one offered for sale a few months ago. I believe asking price was $2,500...
