24 hrs of Le Mans - Aussie style!

i spent yesterday testing my historic 69E race car with a mate nic and his Carrera3.0 racer

the track had recently been resurfaced and it rained all thru the morning sessions. this was the end result - both cars looking like they had just finished Le Mans...

we had a 2 hour cleaning session back at the workshop to get all the residue off. the differences is dirt deposits due to wing and non-wing were pretty evident also.

i'm no concourser, but i think this is the dirtiest my car has ever been.

Nice patina Ryan. Clyde would be horrified.

Hate to think what the underside looks like. Would probably need a gross of toothbrushes to get it clean.
