Anyone have the following parts for sale?

    2) Floor mats, don't have to be concours -- 71 E
    3) Factory Radio or delete plate -- 71 E

    5) Horn ring ( butterfly ) for steering wheel 66 912/911
    6) Hoeptner mechanical chain tensioners
    7) Hood lights ...I know... I know

    There will be more.....much more....

I've got an early butterfly that I semi-restored. The brass ring has a nice patina (most of the chrome is worn off), and I recovered the leather button without the embossed crest. Looks hot-rod cool and very low-key. PM me if interested.

Thank you Mr9146 but I guess I will just try to keep it original. It is for a bone stock 67 912. Some VW guys from a VW meet stole the butterfly, hubcaps, headlights, and ruined my orange bar hood crest..... they did return the hubcaps...minus the emblems.

Thank you for your offer though.

I have these tensioners from a 911, not sure if they will work in the 912 though?

    dweymer,

Those are indeed 911 specific. I am looking for tensioners but those appear to be modified to accept a threaded bolt and lock nut.

Probably pretty effective though and I've thought about using something like that for an early car.

    Thanks,

    Leonard

Yes John, those look like the windwings. Actually I can't remember if targas are different than coupes?

    Tom, sent you a PM.

    Thank you both,

    Leonard

    Wing window top

    Hi Leonard (welcome)

the Targa is a flat top (remember the "T" is flat on top) the Coupe is rounded (the coupe "C" is round).

(And I did learn to tie my shoes with a similar association)....
